As a result of having my work shown in the first edition of Studio Visit I received 3 calls from galleries interested in showing my work - Most notably, a gallery in Chicago selected 3 artists from that edition to show together. The exhibition…was top notch and I'm encouraged to believe there will be future opportunities with the gallery. She wouldn't have found me without Studio Visit. –Jonah Burlingame, Vol. 1

As a teaching artist, I have not only been proud of having my work selected for publication in Studio Visit, but I have also begun to use the magazine as a resource for familiarizing advanced painting students with examples of contemporary painting from various regions in the country. –Paul Yanko, Vol. 3, 5 &13

Shortly after my work appeared in volume-four released in December '08, I was contacted by two galleries from New York City…through a fine series of events, and the 'stature' of appearing your publication, I have entered into an arrangement with a 'blue-chip' dealer and gallery in NY/NJ. I look forward to submitting a new body of work for one of your up-coming publications. –Deborah Bigeleisen, Vol. 4

I had great success with the publication of my work in Studio Visit Volume Four. Studio Visit helped me hold a personal studio meeting with new collectors which lead to not only to sales, but also established a relationship with the collectors. Thanks to such a wonderful publication. –Shawn Huckins, Vol. 4

After being juried into volume 14, I have received numerous gallery contacts, two in NYC and one close to home in Tennessee. I am now showing in the Tennessee gallery. Having this competition under my belt has not only added to my artistic confidence but also has given me a hand in that very elusive thing we call a valued reputation. Your commitment to helping artist's achieve recognition is not only a noble cause but also helps others to realize that art is the backbone of society. -Marie Lauer, Vol 14

The exposure that I garnered from the fall edition of Studio Visit Magazine was fantastic. I was contacted by several new galleries, both here in the U.S. and internationally, which in turn has led to new outlets for my work. The quality of the publication was outstanding, which no doubt lent itself to the robust response that I received. I also was pleasantly surprised by the reach of the publication- it has opened up markets to me in parts of the country where I've never before shown my work. The overall experience was overwhelmingly positive.

People are continually impressed that my work is in Studio Visit. I believe it has boosted my overall credibility as a professional artist among my contacts and within my community. I will be proudly giving copies of Volume Six with my work on the cover to buyers of my originals as thank you gifts. The care you put in to the production of all of your publications makes them truly valuable records and your intent is a wonderful thing for we artists! –Huguette D. May, Vol. 1, 4 & 6

As a result of being in the magazine, I had a gallery in downtown Washington, DC contact me and I am part of a three person show that is hanging there right now.  I really have wanted to establish a presence in the East, so this was perfect.  Thank you.  –Linda St. Clair, Vol. 3
